Long ago, in the time of Ancient Greece, the Council of Erotes, which consisted of Aphrodite, who was the leader of the council and the Erotes: Eros, Anteros, Himeros and Pothos, revised strategy in order to spread the message of love. Anteros suggested creation of a new race, which would spread love and harmony among the Acheans and Trojans. Aphrodite was immediately inspired and decided to further discuss this alone with Eros, which was her Lieutenant; eventually, they decided to spawn a new kind of Nymphs: the Erotiads, which would be the essence of love. They decided that in order to spawn this species a special step would have to be made: the race would be spawned from a love bond, between the leaders of the race. The Council decided to create the beings from their own essence; and so they did. They formed a man and a woman: They named the woman Sapphire, and the man Jasper. They decided they would grow up alone, as regular mortals, and prepare for their roles in ease.
Sapphire was sent to the family of a rich Aristocrat, Akylas Haritos. She grew up spoiled and pampered, though she was always aware that she was adopted; yet, she was pleased with her state, as she always received everything she wished for. She also travelled a lot across many city states with her father, as he was a philosopher and infamous politician. She always admired Athens and the Acropolis; the temples to the gods were always so beautiful to her. During one of her trips, she met a young man named Jasper. He was the son of Akylas' friend, who was also an aristocrat.
He was adopted as well. They shared many interests, and they became friends very quickly. They even had a bit of romance between them, and Akylas, as well as his friend, decided that a marriage would be conducted between them. Sapphire, nor Jasper, were very fond of the idea. They decided to escape together and manage a romance on their own. The life on the road was very difficult for the two, after years of being raised as patricians. During one of their cold nights, five doves started to appear on the roof of the cave in which they stayed in. This repeated during the course of a month, until one night, when it stopped, but, something even stranger happened. A beautiful woman, dressed like a queen, and four other winged men, also dressed quite royally, appeared in the entrance of their cave: it was the council. The couple was confronted by them, and told their story. The couple was taken to a temple of the Erotes' by the Palace of the Gods on Olympus. There, they had their own room. They were formally married in the temple, and that night, they consorted. Twins were born to them, Pearl and Ruby, they were named.
During the course of the next few years, thirteen additional girls were born to them: Amber, Emerald, Amethyst, Agate, Obsidian, Garnet, Chrysocolla, Beryl, Azurite, Olivine, Nephrite, Peridot and Spinel. They became the first-generation Erotiads. They would spawn Erotiads from loves and become the elder Erotiads, the only ones who weren't spawned from a relationship, except for Sapphire and Jasper, though the Trojan War came into play, and many loves were lost. Almost all of the Erotiads faded, and their mothers became dreadly and sad after their passing, eventually fading themselves, leaving Sapphire, Jasper, and a few sole Erotiads on their own. Sapphire was sent by the council to spawn an Erotiad from the bond of King Ferdinand II and Queen Isabella I, but when she returned, Jasper was nowhere to be found, not even a trace left of him. Sapphire, since then, went into a state of chastity, until she discovers the fate of her soul-mate. She recently decided to try and see to the state of love among young demigods, and so, she moved into Camp Half-Blood.
